Great-sounding Midas-designed mic preampsįor the design of X32's gain-programmable preamps, Behringer utilized Midas and Klark Teknik's expertise to develop studio-quality mic preamps that deliver enhanced dynamic range, superior common mode rejection, and vanishingly low harmonic distortion (THD). A single Cat 5 cable from front of house to the stage can handle up to 48 channels of audio and deliver all bus outputs, along with 16 separate monitor feeds for Behringer's optional P16-M Personal Monitoring System. Fitted with 32 great-sounding gain-programmable mic preamps, six 1/4" TRS aux inputs, 16 balanced XLR outs, plus balanced Control Room outputs on both XLR and 1/4" TRS connectors, the X32 lets you do large shows without fear of running out of I/O. The Behringer X32 digital mixer boasts an impressive number of inputs and outputs for its compact size. Impressive I/O can tackle shows of any size

Software wise I recommend Dave Schumann’s Android app, a third party app. The XR series is a great hardware implementation tarnished by a lack of prompt software support and documentation. Automix has a few sentences describing the controls but no explanation of the method which appears to be a gating implementation.
#BEHRINGER X32 AUTOMIX MANUAL#
My major contention with Behringer is the lack of a manual and customer support on the forum. I stopped posting on Behringers forum for some time now. If I were Dan Dugan I would advise Behringer to implement his algoithm or stop using his name (false advertising). Here in chronological order are the posts. you are quite correct on that other forum.

This has been discussed even before the code was released. Is there a automixer implemented in the XR series? Yes. Is the implementation of the XR series a Dan Dugan algorithm? The short answer is NO.
